Re: Braves 2025
Days when you could go the park late, get an OF seat and move up to behind the plate seating in the 2nd or 3rd inning.
Re: Braves 2025
Hate to say it, but these Braves remind me of the pre-Bobby Cox days.
Re: Braves 2025
Good comeback for the Braves and an outstanding performance by Strider - after - giving up a 3-run homer in the first inning. But - sigh - yet another 1-run loss. Limping towards the all-star break.
Re: Braves 2025
This has been such a frustrating season. I absolutely love my Braves, but this is a tough one to watch. Seems that we are squandering a lot of talent. Still, I watch and will chop on. GO BRAVES!

Re: Former Georgia QB suggests how Kirby Smart wants Gunner Stocktonâs mindset
THere is so much that goes into having a NC team. You have to have a great team and great players and have lady luck on your side too. But perhaps above all you have to have players who make the big plays when you need them most. SB, BB, LM, AD Mitchell, KEaris Jackson, Blalock and even Mr. Slippery Hands himself Arian Smith made the plays when the game was on the line. THe most dramatic moments never seemed too big for him. What did SB win like 4 MVP postseason awards? He wasn't the prototypical QB or even always the most consistent passer but he could pull the best out of himself when it had to get done. Give me that guy in GS and I'm happy!
We don't need GS to be the highest rated passer in the SEC or throw the most TD's or have the highest completion ratio. We just need him to be good generally and excellent when it's needed most. He gets his 1st chance against BAMA right off the bat. Game 4? We'll know so much more about him after that game and what he's made of.
Re: Kirby Smart, Deion Sanders have similar takes on portal issues, different strategies
You mean there's intrigue, double-crossing, foul-play, and cheating when you put lots of money in front of 17 year olds? Say it ain't so!!!
Re: Kirby Smart, Deion Sanders have similar takes on portal issues, different strategies
Another excellent MG article, full of lots of data, not just talk. I'd love to see Kirby and Deion collaborate to have influence across the NCAA
