Re: Where is everybody/anybody ?
With only 5 or less days to go til we meet the Thundering Herd from Marshall, it seems quiet on the board. You guys planning your comments for game day already? What is the O/U in minutes before the first fire Bobo comment? The first why don't we pass on first down comment? Just curious.
Re: DawgNation predicts how good Gunner Stockton will be for Georgia football
In games where Gunner was put in for mop up duty he performed very well most of the time. I understand he had good protection in those games in garbage minutes, he had very little protection in the SEC Championship against tejas, and almost NO protection against the golden domers. He gets decent protection against the better defenses and he will make them pay. Richt and Bobo had a good OL in 2012, just not much of a defense. Murray with Bobo put up 41 ppg that year. I think Stockton and Bobo will work well together.
Re: The 3 things that will determine his Georgia football season
It’s Still a Team game. I don’t care if you have the best QB to ever grace the field of football if his OLine can’t block for him and/or if his Receivers can’t catch the ball when it’s a reasonably catchable ball then that QB is not gonna be successful. And you can also add that you must have at a minimum a decent run game else you become one dimensional. All the pieces of the puzzle have to come together for the picture to be pretty.
Now from the articles I’ve been reading I Believe, I Hope we have All that. I’m not “worried” about any part of it, I am Concerned about the O Line the most. I want to see them play good football against a solid SEC defense before I make any pronouncement about them. I do think they have the Want To and that alone is worth allot. Go Dawgs !!

Re: The 3 things that will determine his Georgia football season
No doubt about it. Coaching, QB, and strength in trenches are keys to winning in football. Of course, that’s true for every team in the country.
Re: The 3 things that will determine his Georgia football season
I'm hoping moving Earnest to right tackle will help the O- line. He is great player but I think he needs a little quicker feet for the left side.
Re: DawgNation predicts how good Gunner Stockton will be for Georgia football
You're a Big Gunner Fan I see.
(Makes me wonder what you think of Kirby as a coach.)
Go, Dawgs!

Re: DawgNation predicts how good Gunner Stockton will be for Georgia football
I knew you wouldn’t be able to resist the bait this article put out. Gunner said tell you your former GF said Hey. 🤣

Re: DawgNation predicts how good Gunner Stockton will be for Georgia football
Dawgs are gonna run the ball Allot. And that’s Not a knock on Gunner at all. It’s if the running game is successful, and I believe it will be, then Use it. I’m not gonna offer any predictions about ydg., TDs, INTs on Gunner. All I will say he will do At Least as well as other Dawgs QBs have done in their first full year as starter. Gunner has the winning DNA and it’ll show up.
He’s Not a selfish player if the Run game is working he will go with it And the plays the Coaches are calling in. He’s a Team guy that’s why the Dawgs players love him and on the field That’s what matters.
Puglisi has Huge potential. He loves being a Dawg. Like Gunner I believe the players also love Pugs. If God Forbid Gunner did sustain a serious injury I think Pugs would be very competitive and would play a very competent game Within The Range Of His Experience.
Pugs has never taken a collegiate snap, less alone played in the SECCG or a Ntl. Playoff game. Gunner has 83 snaps and was Thrown into those fires. Yet you have some Badly misguided fans? that want to bench Gunner starting with Marshal and play Pugs. That makes about as much sense as lighting a match to smoke a cigar in a gas tank.
If Gunner unexpectedly plays Horrible and it’s primarily His fault then Yes bench him. All Real Dawgs fans want us to win as a Team. But I’d be very shocked if that happens. Yes he’ll probably throw some INTs along the way, even the best QBs do. But as long as he shakes that off comes back, makes good plays and puts points on the board I can live with a few INTs. Tom Brady has thrown some of those, they happen from time to time.
I Don’t ask Gunner to be a Hero, just Do His Job and help the Team Win. But I also Expect the OLine to do Their job and Receivers to do Their job to help win games on the Offensive side of the ball.
No One that is being Honest and Reasonable can say that the OLine and Receivers did Their jobs consistently in the ND game. Yes Gunner needed to have played better as well but Beck’s injury gave him very little time to be ready for a game of That magnitude. Offensively that was a Team loss.
Lastly I’m Glad Kirby hasn’t named a starter yet. Why ?? Because it Keeps a Fire in the bellies of All our QBs !! Note how he hasn’t yet even stated a Depth Chart so All our players should be hungry to excel and prove their worth !! Go Dawgs !!

Re: 5 fearless Georgia football predictions for 2025 season one week from season opener
don’t shortchange Ryan Montgomery. He will not go quietly

Re: DawgNation predicts how good Gunner Stockton will be for Georgia football
No excuses, now for slow starts and 32 points per game. . Bobo has his preferred QB(according to many)and a new arsenal of receivers and Colbie is back with the kid from Vandy and with Bell, so no excuses in "receivers can't get open) . THe RB situation seems much improved(at least healthwise). Can't let these first two oppnents go toe to toe for 3 quarters before pulling ahead in the fourth. THese need to be cake walks! 40+ per game on these two teams. 7 points or less per game on defense! Let's go!
