Re: Braves 2025
Albies is finally fully healthy, Harris is on fire, and Profar, Olson, Acuna & Baldwin are a great first four fairly consistently. Ozuna last 30 games is batting .209 but has 7 HRs & 20 RBIs and a very high 353 on base pct. which means pitchers are pitching around him fearing the extra-base hit. He's often batting in front of light hitting players Alvarez & Allen/Brujan. Think it's good to see him moved up into the lineup in front of hot hitting Harris & Murphy. Only problem here is Murphy is having the same kind of production having no one protecting him in the 7th spot. He's batting 141 over the last 30 games with only one homer, but a very high 302 OBP considering his average showing once again that our paltry 8 & 9 hole production is mostly killing the lineup overall.
Number one need offensively for next year - find a shortstop and fix the 8/9 hole lineup dilemma. Two years ago (23 season), our 7/8/9 holes batted the best in baseball and our lineup was fierce.
Now, it's a year-long joke!
Re: Braves 2025
Definitely not Quantrill. Right now we are left with Elder, Strider (pray he's got it fixed), Wentz, & Waldrep. I'd go with a bullpen game or Dylan Dodd before I trotted Quantrill back out there.
Re: Braves 2025
Great point. IDK - maybe he's the best option, but he doesn't raise very high hopes in me. Maybe one of their younger guys just to give him a taste. They can always pull the youngster after he gives up Elder's 5+ runs. Guess I'm just a bit dispirited.

This young man has set his team up for an FSU or TCU beatdown.
Re: Braves 2025
Just a sarcastic question, who do you want the Braves to ein out there instead?

KaTron started out at Jackson State…..lasted two years and saw the field once….so he heads to Charlotte in 24 where he had 8 total tackles for the year….4 solo & 4 asst……things were looking bleak so he heads to Marshall where the whole team transfered and there were several D-line openings…..oh well on the positive side things are looking up for ole KaTron….he's got 6K followers on instagram……evidently a very mouthy lad…….until the game ends with The Dawgs…..Then it's back to Mickey Dee's for a career goal.
