The five consecutive unsuccessful runs from the one just before the half was Coach sending a message & challenging his O-Line. Creative play calling was the last thing on Kirby’s mind against an FCS school & with the upcoming gauntlet that starts next Sat in Knoxville. I imagine the offensive meetings & practices the next few days will be just a tad physical.

Very generous grading Connor. As a law professor for 39 years, a C is a decent grade given for a decent performance. Our performance yesterday, especially offensively, was less than decent. It was bad, very bad. The D looked good, but who knows exactly what that means when the opponent is a FCS school. And, as far as I know, not necessarily a top tier FCS school.
I will be surprised if we are competitive against either TN or AL. Of course, I’m hoping to be surprised.

I think it is how they won not that they beat a lesser is what dropped them in the AP. IMO.
