As of 5:30pm Wednesday afternoon, the Dawgs are still sitting ranked #6…Oregon has jumped to #2 after USC, followed by Notre Dame, Bama, and…………………THE VOLS! Yes, Tennessee is ahead of us now with Ohio State, Texas, Texas A&M, and Miami rounding out the Top 10 spots.
Good to see us signing some decent numbers of OL and DL players. We definitely need them.

Thanks for this… would never have seen if you hadn't posted it. There should be no "off topic" button on DN comments, IMHO, especially since CR frequently doesn't turn the comments "on" for many of his articles… you have no choice sometimes! As long as it advances the knowledge of the DN fan community, good stuff :)

ESPN has Georgia's class ranked 3rd
Re: Georgia football recruiting class 2026 commitments, signees, targets, live updates
ESPN dropped Georgia’s recruiting class ranking from #2 to #3. Rankings are Southern Cal, Texas, Georgia, Notre Dame and Oregon. LSU is 14, but waiting on their 5-star DT to sign.
Vandy jumped from 50 to 32 by landing Curtis. Others of interest are Bama 7 , TN 8, “The” 9, UF15, GT 45 and Auburn 55.
Recruiting rankings are like restaurant rankings. It’s all in the eye of the beholder. Georgia signed the Stewart kid who is a 3-star who some say may be a steal. At the end of the day, Georgia has shown it can evaluate talent and find diamonds in the rough, e.g. Ladd McConkey.
