Re: Houston/fla basketball game was atrocious
I understand what you mean. For purpose, it’s kind of reminiscent of Bama playing BYU in the tournament. They shot a ton of 3’s and somehow hit almost 50%. Nobody could beat them when they are shooting like that, nobody!
But that type of play isn’t sustainable in a tournament, no team can keep that up throughout a tournament. You can’t depend on that day in and out. You gotta be able to fall back on talent and fundamentals to keep your head above water and have a chance to win in the Dance. Don’t get me wrong, that shooting was ridiculous and a pure joy to watch, but you can’t win a championship if you rely on being able to shoot that well behind the arc. One bad day does you in.

Re: Houston/fla basketball game was atrocious
Way too many sloppy passes and airballs. They really need to slow it down, focus on the basics, and stop forcing those wild 3s.
Re: Netflix Review: Gladiator II
I loved the first Gladiator too and was super excited for the sequel. The opening was cool, but after that it just didn’t hold up-the fights felt flat, the visuals seemed off, and it gave me too much of a “300” vibe.
Re: Braves 2025
Then he took another nap. Braves need a baseball version of Erk Russell or Kirby Smart.

Re: Braves 2025
19 strikeouts is perfectly acceptable to Snit. In his own words “I’m not worried, the home runs will come around.”
