National Pizza Day
I've been waiiting for this one! Having been raised in an Italian family, we learned early to love pizza. At that time, there were, of course, only a few types of pizza available - cheese, peppereoni, ground beef and some veggies. Nowadays, the choices seem almost infinite. What's your favorite kind?
My Italian grandmom, showing creatiivity similar to that of other of her fellow countrymen, learned to take the biscuit dough that came in cylindrical cardboard containers to make a quick dough. No fool was she.
It's also National Bagel Day.
Finally, and maybe more importantly, it's National Toothache Day. Only recently have I been reading and learning about the role of dental health as it related to overall bodily health. Take care of those canines, Dawgs!!

Had pizza last nite. Got a head start I guess
smart move. Always be a trend setter!!
That I am DEFINITELY not known for. Lol
With four teenagers we could try to go w/o for one day? We celebrate pizza about every day.
Think I will celebrate this day!!
If any of you are ever in the area, try Hardware Pizza in Lyons, GA or Baxley, GA. Super pizza and wings, too. Service isn’t so great but the food negates that. Nice little ice cream and candy shop right down from the one in Lyons. Makes for a really nice date.
Have been there. Listened to band playing music in back. Didn't eat there. Had just been to "Elements" across the street
How was Elements? Haven’t tried it yet but mention it every time we ride by.
Food was good. I was tagging along was reason for being there. To be honest I was out of my "element". Pizza across the street is more me. But I enjoyed it. Owned by Tommy Williams,ex state congressman I believe
Hard to beat a pepperoni pizza, straight up. For variety I'll do some combination of sausage, spinach, mushrooms, feta.
Antico Pizza near Ga Tech is the best I've had in Atlanta.
Can't stand the corporate stuff like Papa John's, Domino's, and Pizza Hut.
Back in my undergrad days we lived on Gumby's. Man, that was some bad pizza.
Some of our best culinary memories have were when traveling and we got side street pie cause we were hungry or it was raining. Just lucked into it and some small place that is not advertised.
Doing my part. Classic pep and a bbq pizza with bbq from a local joint. It’s too legit to quit
