Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

National Napping Day
I suspect this may be rather non-controversial. Who doesn't just love a good nap? My qi gong instructor says naps are necessary, especially after lunch. Can't argue with him or he'll use the infamous Tiger Claw.
It's also National Worship of Tools Day. I know there are power tool aficionados amongst us. What's your favorite project you've done with tools?
Finally, National Oatmeal Nut Waffle Day. Sounds like a great thing to do just before celebrating National Napping Day.

Troy Price?
also, I love a good nap. I wish I could fit in 15-20 minutes each day
no. Master Yang. On video since he lives around Boston I think. Too far to commute for live lessons since I live in Gator country.
Something I've done with tools
I built a bass guitar once, not an easy task...
Nice, @Tdub0199! Do you play?
Great job. You know what to do with tools, hombre!
Yes sir I do.... I've been playing since the late 90's
@Tdub0199 I used to play bass in my college years. That's awesome that you built your own. My son plays guitar now and he's talked about custom building his own since he read about Brian May's "red special." Thanks for sharing the photos. How does she play?
Me too, I bought my first in 1998, and my latest yesterday afternoon! Never tried to build one, though!
This took me about 6 months to complete, I worked on it just a little everyday, I did this back in 2012.
1989... FWIW, that was not my bass. I played a Fender knock off by Peavey until our drummer broke it during sound check about two hours before this photo was taken so I borrowed a bass from a guy that looked like he played with Culture Club. Nice guy. Doubt he follows CFB, though.
Only fitting that national napping day is the day after spring forward. This time change is kicking my tail.
A Steinberger bass. Unmistakable look. @JoelSidneyKelly did your Peavey happen to look like this?
National Worship of Tools Day
So, is this engraver the Most High worshiped tool? (Get it? engraver - worship - - graven images?)
Thank me later.
almost- different color, one pickup. It works now, I just never replaced the pickguard.
This is not mine but just like what I'm currently playing, I can't believe I don't have a pic of my bass!!! Lol
