Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Closed Threads
Man, Three closed threads on the first page. Those mods are working overtime.

We get a bonus for em 😈
I am for it when it eliminates so much redundancy
we really needed this after the Chaney stuff
I can assure you the days of repetitive threads on the same topic are over......
I'll say it
We did
You’re tempting fate there bro
I don’t see a problem with multiple threads on the same topic. We aren’t limited on space and sometimes when you get to the original topic thread there are already 100+ posts. Sometimes I don’t feel like scrolling through pages of posts to catch up. Sometimes another thread hits the topic from a different angle.
I’d prefer to see more troll posts closed. We’ve had plenty of those that went on way too long.
Jeff said he does not want to have multiple threads on the same topic and that is what we are going to do.......sorry
@pgjacksonAlso, numerous threads on the same topic push other worthy threads off the first page. Most users don't go past the first page of the forum, therefore good discussion topics can get buried and we're all left discussing 21 Fields threads on the first page. So, we are somewhat limited of space on the first page... Also, if you see troll threads please report them/tag us and we'll take a look. Cheers
Well, I'm still kinda a newb around here and don't have a say I guess, but another problem is, occasionally, one or two people get to going back and forth on a tangent, unrelated to the original topic and it goes on for 3 or 4 pages. By the time page 5 gets there, it's so far off topic, the thread is unsalvageable and you might as well start another thread. That thread on Cox and Beal, I just stopped reading about 2 pages in. Just my two cents FWIW.
What's that old saying about giving someone a little power and watch it rush to their head like a (fill in adjective)...
We're trying to do better about keeping threads on topic. It also has to do with the OP, and whether he/she minds if it goes off topic, as it's their thread. The recent thread of the arrests involving marijuana generally lead to many off-topic comments due to the political marijuana discussions, I agree with you there.
Has a mod has done something wrong? If so, please report them. Mods are not above being reported, their comments/threads deleted, and/or banned.
Been an admin/mod on boards for a long time so no power trip. Your opinion is fine I am a big boy, don't like that I closed your repetitive thread, all I can say is tough, don't start a repetitive thread.
That thread has not gone off topic very much just a few post here and there. Multiple discussions on the same topic are not going to happen. If a thread gets unsalvageable then something will be done.
@Teddy I feel like you started this trend before you were a mod and thus were born for this lol
