National Walking Day

A beautiful day down here in North Central FL. Perfect for a nice walk. Celebrate this National Day with a nice walk of however long you feel like doing and however long you can. Nothing says you can't repeat it tomorrow and many days after that. Doesn't really matter how far or how fast you walk - just get moving.

Once the walk is over you can celebrate National Chocolate Mousse Day - don't you just love it when a plan comes together?

The old XC coach trying to trick us into hitting the pavement. I've already fallen for it once and hoping to fall for it again today.

Hey, don't shoot the messenger. I just report what I read on the site. Who knows, there might even be a National Walk Downtown (or Uptown) day coming up. I just take these one day at a time. I'd feel better about our society as a whole if more people/most people took to walking/jogging/swimming/biking and such on a regular basis.
