The Hawks and the Lottery...

I grew up LOVING 'Nique. And it's pretty much been a dumpster-fire ever since.

It would be nice to really get excited again...

...and that leads me to this post. If you are bored (and if you are on this forum in the middle of the day...), go to

and just see what COULD happen during the lottery. Not only do I get a little giddy when the ATL logo ends up at one, it is interesting to see where Dallas' pick lands. Crazy to see a #7-10 pick show up for us one time, and then disappear the next.

The Hawks could go #1 and #6 in a best-case scenario. Sadly, the very next time it may land with us getting only the #8...

Anyway, fun to consider...

...and do you think there is ANY chance that a franchise would trade #1 to ATL if they get the #2 and the #6?

Should the Hawks trade #2 and #6 for #1 if it fell that way?

The best case for Atlanta is #1 and #9. The top 4 picks are assigned as part of the lottery. After pick 4, the rest is based upon record. Dallas can move into the top 4 but can never be picks 5-8. If Dallas moves into the top 4, Dallas keeps the pick.

A 10 percent chance to land Zion Williamson. So, don't get your hopes too high.

The worst we could do is 9th with our pick and lose the Dallas pick.
