We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Well they ran out of books to draw from. Author went over it with showrunners and this is what they came up with
From a different perspective, you could almost say that Jon got played by Tyrion. Look who's the new Hand and who's the new Eskimo.
I think Tyrion got the raw end. Stuck in Kings Landing rebuilding. Sansa manipulated all thinking she'd be the queen and when the answer wasnt what she wanted she disconnected the North. But Jon Snow looked back at the Wall seemingly like he wouldn't be returning and would live life out as a Wildling which was his goal a few seasons ago. Plus he's disassociated from all titles out there.
Martin, to the chagrin of his fans, has not finished the series. So the show writers had the blessing and curse to script their own ending.
Ringer has some good articles breaking all this stuff down today
I'm equating the series to the Falcons Super Bowl. I was jacked during the first three quarters then I could see the impending doom coming and finally massive disappointment.
Yea I always got the feeling Jon would end up back in the north in the end. I think he was probably ok with the decision to send him up there. Hang out with Tormund and his wolf, maybe visit Winterfell every once in a while. Away from politics.
Starks were almost extinct.
Now a Stark Is:
King of the 6 Kingdoms
Queen of The North
King Beyond the Wall
And don't forget the free spirit traveling the seas....
