Graduation Day
Today our daughter and only child took part in the UGA College of Family and Consumer Sciences Convocation Graduation Ceremony.
The experience our daughter had at UGA was exceptional in every way academically, socially and becoming involved in the community volunteering.
Although we live 483 miles away in Richmond, VA, Athens feels like home to us. My wife and I enjoyed being a part of the Parent’s Council and look forward to staying involved with UGA.
I also want to thank everyone involved with DawgNation. We enjoyed meeting BA, Jeff and others at the SEC Championship Tailgate prior to the Auburn game The ability to participate with the various podcasts and this forum allowed my wife and I to not feel so far away the past four years.
Our daughter accepted a wonderful job near Atlanta, so as Kirby would say, “We are not going anywhere”!

Congratulations!
I appreciate all of kind messages.
BTW, Hairy Dawg is graduating this week. He had his Cap and Gown on like everyone else. He had a graduation stole with the Georgia “G” on one side and “Hairy Dawg” on the other side. He was wearing his front Paws and shook the Dean’s hand with his right paw. Wish I had gotten a picture.
That's awesome! Thanks for sharing. Her sister looks proud of her, also.
Congrats chip!
it looks as if you’ve raised a beautiful young lady that will contribute to society. You should be very proud.
