what is on your menu for Mother's Day? Full spread, something intimate, going out and letting someone else handle it?
I am doing filet mignon burgers with battered homemade fries
Probably my goose before it's over!
@tfk_fanboy that sounds delicious, do you have a recipe that you’d be willing to share?
Filet mignon cheesesteak sandwiches and homemade fries!
I am doing a version of this. Will tweak a little here and there for my grill, my style, the guests, etc,
Low country boil and also a rack of ribs on the smoker for those that don't love LCB.
there are people who don't love a low country boil?! even gators like that!
Not a blasted thing.😋
Thanks!
I’m not cooking. I’m eating what someone else cooks for me and will definitely have a mimosa...or two...
@texdawg why do you think this is off-topic? it is located in the DawgNation 5-star Chef Zone
what sub-forum would you suggest I post this?
Didn't know I answered off topic. I've never intentionally selected off topic or down voted anyone. My bad
As it should be. Mimosas for everyone!🤪
8:30 tee time with father-in-law and brother-in-law tomorrow morning, then the ladies are having a spa day while we watch the kids. While they're handling the children, I'll be smoking a butt and a brisket, and drinking a few cold ones.
just picked up a whole tenderloin, just shy of 6lbs. have it on rack in fridge salted and drying.
Well this will be a long weekend of cooking....
