Wearing black jerseys is one thing. Doing a "Black Out" is another. I'm not a big fan of the "Black Out" since Bama came in and whipped our tails while we tried to pull off this stunt. You don't do "Black Outs" if you are rated higher and are the favored team. Mega letdown as we and other teams have seen...
Coming out in black jerseys without all the "Black Out" hype is what I would rather see.......
The red jersey should be worn at night - shows up better. The black jersey ought to be worn in mid-October or later when temps are cooler, and in an afternoon game. White pants are fine; silver pants (with red and black stripes!) would be boss (or another b-word); black pants - not a fan. Red helmets are fine; the black "stealth" helmet would be that b-word; the black helmet with red G would be near b-word.
Naysayers, .......... begin!
I get that, but we gotta move away from that stigma. It’s a new era under a new coach. I would like it to be a down south version of Penn States white out.
