I'm going with #1 Chubb, and #2 Michel. Herschel, Knowshon, and Gurley can get their, 3-seasons rating later. Chubb and Sony came back for year 4 to try to will the Dawgs a NC. They played good enough to get it done, but sick play calling and ridiculous officiating cost them down the stretch.
The other guys didn't come back to put the Dawgs on their shoulders and tote us to the NC. They are still DGDs. All of them.
Gotta go with Gurley. Sony was amazing, but Chubb shared the load with him.
I hope this time next summer we are putting D'Andre Swift into this discussion.
Regarding great running backs in UGA history, i can’t help but wonder where Robert Edwards would have ranked had he been “discovered” earlier and had at least three full seasons of playing time...oh, well
Michel. Won the Rose Bowl. Won the super bowl. Did not get in trouble for **** stuff. Played senior season (Thank You). Mostly stayed healthy.
