National Mac And Cheese Day...and more

donmdonm ✭✭✭✭✭ Graduate

What's your favorite way to enjoy mac and cheese? I am fond of cowboy mac and cheese - with bacon and jalapenos in the mix.

What better way to top off a mac and cheese meal than Grand Marnier. Today's the day for that as well. A somewhat unusual combo but it does sound pretty good.

If you eat too much mac and cheese, you may want to observe National Tape Measure Day. The first tape measure cost $17 - equivalent to $300 in today's money - quite expensive. When the tape measure as we know it today came along, the price dropped and it became a big seller.

Many uses for a tape measure including recording the dimensions of the human body, which is convenient since today is also National Nude Day. Of course, one can simply enjoy the beauty of the human form and wonder at it's complexity - an amazing feat of engineering, from the functions of the tiniest cell to the most complex organ of all - the brain.

Much to eat and enjoy and think about today.
