imageKirk Herbstreit on Jake Fromm: 'Arguably the best leader in the country'

The most famous TV analyst in college football gave Jake Fromm some serious love on Monday, calling the UGA quarterback “arguably the best leader in the country.” Those words of praise were from Kirk Herbstreit, the ESPN/ABC TV analyst during a show about Heisman contenders. Jake is going to have to show that he has improved so much in the off season that he can WILL a victory when needed to. The breakdowns of past Auburn, LSU and Texas games need to be a thing of the past and when the run game breaks down, he needs to be able to throw the team to victory. This will give him the Heisman Trophy as well as a Nat'l Championship.

I think with an offensive coordinator that doesn’t ties his hands he can do just that. Go Dawgs!

The passing game struggles at times when the receivers can't get open and on the other side of the ball, those pesty scrambling QBs have been a major problem for the defense.

If Fromm is high on the new group of receivers, I think the passing game will be fine and if Dan Lanning can discipline his players to become better tacklers, the defense will be fine..... Kelly Bryant and Kellen Mond will be challenge.

I would dearly love to see a local young man win the Heisman. I have relatives that played baseball on the same team with him so I feel a connection (whether there is or isn't in not important, that feeling is (to me)).

I'll be pulling for them every game but if Georgia is to have a "magical year" the on the field coaching is going to have to improve considerably. It may well happen but it's hard to beat the elite teams by shutting your offense down midway into the third quarter.

I'm a bit worried that we're being fed a steady diet of Rat Poison.

Jake says he's focused on summer workouts, getting ready for camp, and winning the only game that matters. The only opponent we need to be concerned about at all right now is Vanderbilt and the only team we need to worry about is Georgia. If we do those things the rest will take care of itself.

    Go, Dawgs!

Here we go another season long love fest between the AJC and Kirk HerbTwitt

AJC act like anyone that's a Georgia fan gives a single **** what Herbtwitt has to say …..If his mouth was sowed shut and never opened again it wouldn't repay him working so hard and being the main cause of Georgia not getting the title shot when he constantly explained it wasn't fair to LSU who would be conference champion …. Only to turn around a handful of years later and argue Ohio St deserved the nod even though Pen St had won the conference
