Breaking down the 8 Georgia football transfers, from Justin Fields to Brenton Cox
Georgia football has had some offseason attrition with eight players transferring, but some didn't have a choice, and others were buried on the depth chart

If your not worthy of the G, then your not worthy of the G!
we won't miss any of them.
Other than possibly Ford, the Dawgs are better off without any of them. That's eight scholarships that will be used well by Kirby and staff. As for Fields, each of his entitlement snaps that he was given, not including the mop up duty which is all he deserved being clearly second string, the Dawgs were less than optimal when he was in the game because Fromm was on the sideline. To this day, Fields has not proven to be five star anything except HS camps and 7 on 7 which is a totally different animal than staring down Division I defenses and figuring out what is coming pre-snap.
Great content again Mike ! Just stating the facts...If a player decides he doesn't want to be a Dawg...Our best woof to you !!! Go Dawgs
I'm not down on any of these guys and don't believe we always know everything involved in why they are gone, but it's kind of amazing how little impact their absence seems to be having. We have depth. Thus the absence of a player has less impact on the team's overall status.
With several of these guys it could be argued that their transfer helps us and hurts the team they went to. Of course, we don't know that it will end up that way as the season and their career at the new school go on. Regardless I doubt Kirby & Company erred in any way with any of these young players. Guys make decisions. Stuff happens. The team and the football program and the coaches still have the same goals and the same job to do.
Go, Dawgs!
Okay, we have had our history lesson and a synopsis of 8 former Dawgs leaving the home of the Bulldogs. Take the ones that want to be here, and win a Championship Coach. Some left for valid reasons, but a few of them had that ME, ME, Me mentality Coach Smart spoke of. After the South Carolina game and a Dawg win, the 5 Star and still backup QB could be heard letting go of some foul language over his playing status. Also some players just cant be coached, they think they are already perfect. UGA has moved on, the former players that used to be there have moved on. Write headlines and stories of the current Dawgs, leave the USTABEE players out of the current stories of real Dawgs. Go Dawgs!
Anything to the rumors that Cox is trying to stir racism and recruiting violations against UGA? Or is that more fake news from Gators?
My guess it's fake news.....
