Fantasy Football Thread

Hey y’all I’m not sure if there is already a thread created but thought it would be ok to post this here. If there already is let me know and I’ll just jump over to that one.

So I just wanted to initiate this to have a place to discuss any fantasy related topics and/or questions people may have for better insight on their teams.

Ill kick this off:

I am apart of a 12 team league at work and I’m looking into a back TE. I’m stuck between Tyler Eifert (injury prone but if healthy is a beast) or Mark Andrews (not really productive but not injury prone.

I'd go Andrews.

Depends on what you need from the position week to week. Do you need to swing for the fences at that position because you think you might be a little light at other positions? Or do you feel good about the rest of your lineup and you just need someone that isn't going to put up a goose egg? After all, we are talking about backup TE here.

1- Williams (expect a monstrous year. Think Kareem Hunt his rookie year. Chiefs RBs always catch alot of passes and he's looked great in preseason)

2- Jones (should get a ton of volume as clear cut lead back and lack of RB depth on the Packers. Slayed last year when he was given a decent sized workload)

3- Freeman (would probably be at the top if not for injury risk)

4- Fournette (gets alot of volume but YPC numbers aren't great for his career IIRC)

5- Carson (never trust Seahawks RBs in fantasy)

I see Carson is getting no love from some folks. He finished 5th in the league in rushing yards last year and tied for 7th in rushing TD’s. He’s not the top back on your list, but he’s definitely not the worst.

From a fantasy perspective I’d probably go:

Williams

Freeman (assuming he stays healthy - big if with him)

Fournette (I still don’t trust him to stay healthy)

Carson (I might would even put Carson ahead of Fournette)

Jones

This list order could change depending on the type of league (Standard vs PPR).

Wanted to comment on this and bring it back to the top. Interested to see perhaps how many people on here play fantasy and would like to keep this thread going through the year for weekly advice and start sit discussions. I guess upvote or interact if you also would like that.

Hmm that's a tough one to start with. I'd probably go Dede because they will likely be throwing a good bit. Whether its a shoot out or just garbage time receptions

Struggling with Damien Williams or David Montgomery Week1 with standard scoring

I'd go with Damien personally. I assume he will be involved in the passing game with the chiefs while Cohen will be getting those balls for the bears.
