Nolan Smith's 'relentless effort' leads to Georgia's best pass rushing day in Kirby Smart era
ATHENS — After his first game in Sanford Stadium, it's very clear freshman outside linebacker Nolan Smith does not have an off switch. Smith's effort and motor has drawn rave reviews from the time he stepped on campus. When you combine those aspects along with the physical gifts — Smith was the nation's No. 1 recruit

What a great group of young men. Azeez has a great personality and appears to be an excellent teammate.
I am stoked about N Smith's capability, and I love the depth we have at the position.
Smaller than some and not as fast as most but a relentless motor is the same thing we heard about All American David Pollack! Once a stat is discovered that measures heart, determination, and effort, then we will be able to truly measure the potential for greatness of a player.
Shoot the hooch, I may be mistaken, but I thought speed was supposed to be one of his key attributes. It sure looks that way when he gets loose and starts running down quarterbacks.
I will say he does look a little undersized; however, if the bull rushes we've seen so far are any indicator, he doesn't seem to lose anything in power. If he can bring the strength of a 300 pounder in that frame of his, that seems to me like a best of both worlds situation.
