Fire and passion is a great thing to have in the game of football. However, if this young man keeps hurting the team with senseless penalties, I’m pretty sure CKS will let him ride the bench awhile to drive home the message. I sure hope he’s listening. We need him on the field. Go Dawgs!

I love a WR that has a some of the Hines Ward mentality. We need Db's to wonder if Pickens will blow by them or blow them up.

He's phenomenal and more importantly, he has the killer instinct. I see it in Cade Mays, Nolan Smith and Zamir White.

I believe that, soon, there will be no wondering, they will know that.

First of all, to all those who keep worrying that Pickens is somehow like Antonio Brown, let's slow your role. He picked up a personal file penalty, he was penalized, Kirby pulled him from the game and talked to him. Something that happens once (like Zamir White's fumble) does not a trend make. Let's see how he responds.

Second, though, how can David Marshal, Jake Fromml (or anyone else on this team) say Pickens "reminds them" of A. J. Green.?When Green was at UGA, most of these players were like 10, 11, 12 years old. They may not have even been following Georgia at the time. And in any case, they never played with or against A. J. Green to know how he really plays. Maybe they could say, "he plays the way we've seen A. J. Green play on TV." I think Pickens shows signs of being one of the best receivers ever at Georgia -- maybe even THE best. But he's two GAMES into a career that so far consists of games against Vanderbilt and Murray State. Neither is exactly loaded with defensive back talent. I'm as excited about him as the rest of Bulldog Nation but let's all take a deep breath and see where this thing ends. Go Dawgs!

So far just based on how he strides and moves with his body he reminds me more of Andre Hastings / Fred Gibson than AJ Green.....

I would rather let him just be George Pickens ….

By the way what player or coach on this staff ever played with AJ Green to be able to make such comparisons ?
