Pulling from the other thread, I don't think you can ever go wrong with Mudcats. Or if you don't share my love for Marquis Elmore, then Junkyard Dawgs is always good.

Frankly you're halfway there with HornedDawgs. Maybe shorten it to Horndawgs?

Mine used to be Beats By Ray. Not PC and probably in poor taste, but it garnered attention.
The reason I prefer names not related to players is because they usually offer much better options. I was commissioner of a league forever ago and a new member named Frank couldn't come up with a name so I assigned him Frank's Andbeans on the spot.
