Kirby Smart: Georgia's George Pickens growing from 'tough coaching,' team leaders

hope he's coachable and not trying to be someone he's see's on Sports center lately, if you get my drift.
I'm not concerned about his physical game. I'm concerned about his mental game. I hope he can get control of things because he looks like he could become a great one if he does.
By years end, I think we will see a greatly improved George Pickens in all aspects of his game. I have noted in another article that I see several young guys who “want it” and I believe Pickens is one of them. I truly believe this young man is going to listen, learn and be a huge asset to this team very quickly. Go Dawgs!
For a true freshman receiver that already has better size and skills than some that play on Sundays, watching the way he plays when the ball is not coming his way tells me all I need to know about his attitude about being a teammate and winning! His frustration level is about to go through the roof if he's not careful because it won't be long before DCs make him the man they won't allow to beat them. Then, it's a matter of picking their poison because Fromm is a master at identifying single coverage and finding where defenses are most vulnerable. George and this offense are going to be fun to watch!
Exceptional Talent + Humility + Dedicated Hard Work = Greatness
George, do you want to be 'good' or do you want to be great?
Dawgnation believes you are going to be great for this University's Football Team. We also believe be great for yourself!
We need more guys like Mr Pickens who has the killer instinct. I can only point to a few of them (Mays, White, Smith and Pickens) at the moment. Those 4 reminds me of the 1980 team that played with passion, purpose and pride. Until this team collectively start playing that way, it's going to be difficult for them to get over the hump because of this stigma that "uga a is a underachieved program" which has permeated across the country. That gives other teams confidence that they can win because they don't fear uga especially the teams in the sec west.
