- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

It’s halftime and the game looks like Notre Dame wants it more than we do. Our soft coverage and poor push up front is going to cost us this game if they don’t adjust.
Can we not cover their Tight End?
So far it looks like ND came to play. Our defensive secondary is weak, and our OL is barely protecting Fromm. Where's the 'Havoc'? I haven't seen any effective pass rush at all.
114 yards of offense? Holy cow.
We'd better make some adjustments at halftime.
This was another poorly officiated game, not as bad as the National Champ game vs bama but these officials apparently were not aware of what an actual hold is. When I start keying in on specific incidents like the officials picking their nose while a ND OL had his entire arm wrapped around one of our defenders no more than 5 feet away from inept official. Either a review of each official after each game needs to be conducted and if any official misses calls or fails to pay attention then like in any other job a performance review needs to be given to the officials and if they fail again then they need to get a fine or flat out fired!!!
Wan't much Havoc tonight by the Georgia defense, but UGA wonnnnnnnnnn!
Tommielee, not to quibble but the defense did have two takeaways and a number of pass breakups. I said before, but am not seeing the comment anymore (so sorry if this is redundant) that I think the relative lack of pressure on Book was by design, to keep his running ability in check. It gave him more time to find receivers, but they clamped down on that pretty well in the second half - and as for the first half, let's not forget that ND's only touchdown came after 5 or 6 attempts on a drive that started inside the 10. And their second half touchdown was pretty much the only time that they weren't completely shut down. All in all I think it was a pretty solid defensive game plan.
Oh, and it probably didn't help that our top two corners missed most or all of the game due to injury.
