WATCH: SEC Shorts hilariously parodies Notre Dame injuries during Georgia game
At two different times on Saturday night, a Notre Dame defender went down while Georgia was attempting to play at an uptempo pace. Pretty quickly most seemed to realize that Notre Dame was deliberately going down as a way to try and slow down the pace. Naturally, a lot of people are now making fun of Notre Dame on

Now THAT'S funny, I don't care who you are! While the ND player was pushed to the ground by the teammate, I'll give the benefit of the doubt as he did appear a little woozy walking before he was forced down. However, the second one was ludicrous. The "report" was that he collided with Jake Fromm's elbow while heading back to his side of the LOS. He was seen on the sideline getting eyedrops. Please tell me exactly how Fromm's ELBOW got through his facemask and poked him in the eye. After the game, ND head coach Brian Kelly said he was suffering from cramps. So coach, he was having eye cramps??? Get real. Had a lot of respect for how ND was prepared and played. However, that charade costs them some of that respect, at least in my mind. Go Dawgs!
Naturally the one who told his players to "go down" would defend said players..nice try "coach"
If Fromm's elbow took him down, he isn't much of a defender, or an actor lol
The problem with all of this is the fake injuries worked. Both drives stalled
Yep, funny video. It's tough to justify what Notre Dame did, especially when you consider the fact that players come off the field all the time with various bumps and bruises. Both were really strange because both players were on one knee. How often do you see an injured player on a knee? Generally there's no doubt about their condition because they are on their backs knocked out (or absolutely reeling in pain). But, I guess that's "big boy" football for you - independents can do whatever they want. Maybe it was past siesta time or something like that.
Hilarious video! I'm glad SEC shorts is calling Notre Dame out like this.
It's really a shame. ND came into a very hostile environment, and gave Ga all they wanted. The Georgia fans showed the Notre Dame fans great hospitality, and it just couldn't have went much better. Then Kelly pulls the very lame, fake injuries. That was a punk move.
Notre Dame should be a program that's above such tactics. I hope Kirby never stoops to that level.
New football injury to be aware of going forward. Cramps of the eye. One of the so called injuries to a ND player Saturday night was a defensive player who suddenly went to one knee as Jake Fromm and UGA was lining up for a play. Play was halted, player finally was escorted to the ND sideline, and was administrated eye drops. Head Coach claims he had cramps. ND was losing at the time, too bad Rudy wasn't there to help.
Notice Kelly Bryant's word play: he "suffered an evaluation for a concussion". What! How do you suffer an evaluation? The whole thing is dubious and ND won't own what everyone knows to be true. Their defense was losing to an up tempo offense and they chose to give their team an advantage with unsportsmanlike actions. The refs should have flagged it. Let's move on please.
What type of eye drops cures cramps ?
Middle drops.
Midol, not middle.
