I'm not surprised at all by this tidbit. Georgia has come up short too many times and been disappointing too many seasons. We go through a lot of hype only to not finish the drill. We've got the playmakers to be in the CFP conversation, but our continued conservative play calling and apparent lack of confidence by our coaches almost cost us the game against ND.

Talk to me about CFP rankings after the season is over. Until we hit the Florida, Auburn, and Texas A&M stretch we ought to be coasting to pretty easy victories. Clemson is struggling at times but still winning. OSU, Oklahoma, Bama, and LSU all look very impressive, but we will know more about these teams over the next month. Let's just concentrate on improving, executing, and quieting any naysayers. The proof will be in the pudding, and 2nd place won't cut it for the Dawgs this year.

We all know there’s a media bias against UGA. But it won’t matter as long as they just take care of business. This does look like it’s gonna be another one of those years though, where there are too many good teams and not enough spots available. Someone will be left in the cold (again). That’s why I think the conf championship game is a must win.

Polls and the Media's bias are what they have been, and will continue to be.

Doesn't matter, UGA will never get the benefit of the doubt. Those benefits are reserved for others, and likely always will be.

Georgia only has one ticket in, and that's to win the SEC Championship. Kirby will use this to his teams benefit.

Better to kick the door in, than to be invited in based on favoritism.

The SEC looks stronger this year than i can remember. UGA will not get any love until we win the SEC and punch our ticket in. One game at a time and we are in the playoffs. Go Dawgs!

All Georgia has to do is win every game, by only one or forty two, just win every game. If they do that, then it doesn't matter about polls or pollsters. For those who wan't to expand the teams to eight for the playoffs. If they do that, then you will wan't 10, then 12, then 16, then more and more. It;s working now, leave it alone.

Besides, the best Dawg is an underdog. Why would we want to be treated like some princess team like Ohio State?

OMG, do they love THE Ohio State University or what.

My wife has a degree from there. She says she went to Columbus because it was the easiest grad school in the country - or something like that which is insulting to Ohio State. She hates Ohio State. That's one of the reasons we're so happy together. She's even become a huge Dawg fan.

There's some kind of law which says, at least this early in the season, it's illegal for them to rank Notre Dame higher than an undefeated team which recently beat them.

Another law says Notre Dame must be in the top ten no matter what until it becomes obvious they can't possibly get into the playoffs or any bowl game after Christmas.

It is funny that the only team that has beaten a top 10 team that is still in the top 10 is little ol' unworthy Georgia. That makes ZERO sense but it is what it is.

Some things only make sense if you can get into Kirk Herbstreit's head.

    Go, Dawgs!

The big reason for this is that if is looking more and more that there might be 3, 4......or more teams go undefeated in the regular season this year...to make the playoffs the Dawgs are simply going to have to beat Alabama...and in the last two games, Saban has simply outcoached Kirby

no one wants the polls to matter. Yet they do. Until Kirby learns to go for the jugular we won’t get the benefit of the doubt. Yes. If we win out it doesn’t matter. But if it’s a 1 loss uga and a one loss whoever...then the polls matter. What looks better? A one loss Ohio st team against Michigan state after drilling everyone. Or a one loss uga team after slipping to whomever and not putting up style points?
