Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Chaney
Yes, we gave up two TDs within the first 16 min of the game, after which our D pumped Tenn like that chick Debbie who...for some reason...DID Dallas...
My Q for those of you that were unsatisfied with the win...How much did Jim Chaney's familiarity with our team play a role?
I think it played a huge role, as evidenced by our adjustments and eventual success.
Tell you what...Fromm is a greedy dude with the football in his hand. Selfish IMO. Doesn't ever let the other team take it from him.
Edit - Chaney knows not only our play book, but also the players themselves. He knows who to go after, and who to leave alone.
Comments
Do you have to be unsatisfied to comment? I posted during the game that Chaney’s familiarity was evident. Nice job by Lanning.
Come one, come all. Step right up and let's acknowledge the elephant in the room...
Wait, I shouldn't have said elephant bc now yall may accuse me of hate speech and then the thread gets closed, people run away screaming, an angel loses its wings.
Well...She shouldn't have did that stuff...
I don't see how that's hate speech. Between calling out someone's intelligence, how their face looks, their race, their height, or their weight. Weight is the one thing we all have control over and choose whether or not to be the size of a house.
Alabama was losing to Ole miss at the end of the first quarter
LSU was losing to NW state at the end of the first quarter
bama was only up by 4 points at the end of the first quarter against USCjr.
clemson was losing to UNC at the end of the first quarter and tied at the half
point is... slow starts happen, and it’s the reason for in game adjustments and for players to keep chopping. No team is going to have flawless starts and dominate everyone they play from start to finish
we played a team that their head coach strongly dislikes us, and we played them at their house... while they had an offensive coordinator that knew: our plays, our players, our calls, our schemes.... of course it had impact, but I’m not disappointed in the game at all
Mmmhmmm...
...but you know those people who don't have the internal strempf to take control of their lives feel that it is unfair that some people do find that internal strempf to make a change...
But seriously...Chaney being the UT OC made a big difference last night...
Dadgummit...I said big...
Science may not agree with the weight issue being totally under one's control.
Stop...There are INDIVIDUALS with medical obesity, but POPULATIONS of lifestyle violators...
They are listening to too many doctors and not enough nutritionists. Even with a thyroid condition, you can lose weight. Oftentimes it's the eating habits that contribute to a thyroid problem. And nobody that big is eating as clean as they claim they are. They likely have bingeing habits they cover up.
Can you tell which group a person belongs to by just looking at him/her? If not, it might be bad policy to criticize.
Nope to sentence #1.
Good points and what about Alabama-Citadel last year
I don't follow... doctor's are trained very little in nutrition, almost not at all. That's not how our medical system is setup.
As a doctor I don't have to bc I get to sit down with you, talk to you, check your bloodwork (blood is honest 100% of the time), etc.
But to be flippant towards your comment yeah...I can at this point judge a book by its cover when it comes to weight, and I'm gonna be right 90% of the time. There are many clues in the phenotype bruh.
Exactly
In 4 yrs of med school, 1 yr of internship, 3 yrs of residency, and 1 yr of fellowship I've never seen a doctor tell a pt their weight problem is exclusively medical. Not once.
My n is several thousand pt interactions with other physicians in the room.
After training add another 2+ years of pt interactions and you're adding another several thousand.
Never seen it once.
An MD can't become a nutritionist bc there are only 24 hrs in a day.
MDs don't manage weight alone, they refer to ppl who do...Usually it is a combo of a nutritionist and a physical therapist.
How often you think patients follow up on those referrals?
I gotcha. I should clarify: they are not listening to nutritionists AT ALL.
Chaney probably used his knowledge of LeCounte's tendency to bite on a double move on the long td pass in the first quarter. Also thought that LeCounte was later getting over for their other td pass.
