Waaaaay tooooo much obsession with “explosive” plays. The average fan would think a high powered offense like Ohio State is crushing UGa in statistics, but that’s not even slightly the case. In fact, UGa averages more yards per play and is almost equal in yards per game. I’d rather average 8+ yards per play, have long drives, let our defense rest, etc, etc, etc versus scoring on big plays. Big plays don’t wear down the opposing defenses and allow their offenses to wear out our defense. Go Dawgs

    Well done, BubbaBill.

Remember last year when writers and talking heads said the 2018 Alabama team was the best Alabama team ever and maybe the best team ever in college football? Clemson destroyed that point of view but were there any mea culpas?

    Jake is the man.

    Go, Dawgs!

@JimWallace - Didn't Dabo give UGA credit for showing them the plan to beat Alabama?

I understand about the big plays giving the defense time to rest, but there probably will come a time when we have to score quick (see UGA's Rose Bowl win), plus it makes a team look so much more dominant to be able to score at will.

In the context of the "top 4" teams, the appearance of domination seems to be important in the committee's selection.

I want us to be dominant in all facets of the game like I know we can. Besides, if Fromm is going to leave after this year, I want him to really show off what he can do.
