Both are surprise winners in the divisional round and both came back from life support to make the playoffs.
Can they both lose
C) Not the Braves
Washington is better, but St Louis always has some voodoo come playoff time
STL pitching is better. Plus they recently beat the "three aces" of Washington. Hopeful that the home town team willl get the W. Go Cards
They both lose wasn't an option somehow.
C) Who cares. The Braves aren’t in it, so I’m done with baseball until April 2020.
I think Yadi Molina is one of those infectious competitors like Paul O'Neill was who rubs off on his teammates. I still went with Washington, but it's almost a push to my thinking.
Nats are playing good ball right now. I’m picking yankees vs Nats...
Houston vs Nats, but obviously Verlander has to show up.
Agreed he reminds me of Smoltz for what ATL used to have. Add in Waino in the staff they have that "I wanna win motivation." But the series is a toss up in my eyes as well. It'd be great to see the only sports franchises in STL win in the same year.
Nats will win. They have 3 horses that are capable of shutting down a mediocre offense. Cards have only 1.
Nats vs Astros in the World Series.....starting pitchers win postseason games.
Relief Pitching is the key in postseason. Nats bullpen is suspect. Max has a bad stat line vs Cardinals. Stephen is streaky. Corbin is the guy thats dangerous. Series will be more difficult than good starters. I do agree with Houston because they have it all from top to bottom IMO. Who's the one starter in your opinion for the Cardinals?
I wish somehow they could both lose.
That was quick. I still think a Houston vs Washington World Series is coming.
Welp... I stand corrected. Cardinals didn't show up at all.
