Carolina deserves the win. They brought it today. Dogs are not a championship team. Maybe now they can just go to work and play football. And we can forget about all the media hype because that is over.

Poor coaching, poor execution will get you beat by a 2-3 team. They absolutely deserved this loss and being the laughing stock of college football. And Kentucky isn't going to feel sorry for us next Saturday either.

Blah, blah, blah....straight out of the coachspeak 101 handbook. Want to help them get better Kirby? Bring your offense into the 21st century. And quit getting cute with the clock when you have a chance to win the game.

That was rough. Was at the game and the Dawgs just looked flat all day. I had suspicions about them all year. At Vandy they didn’t looked GREAT.... the first halves of all games they looked pedestrian.....

but you cant lose a game like this at home and say “well the SEC is tough!”

no the Dawgs just aren’t that good. Great teams have off days but this was just not being ready to play, not playing w a spark, and just half assing it all day....

this was Georgia loosing more than Georgia getting beat... Georgia Auburn and Florida are overrated....I don’t think any of them would beat Penn or Wisconsin. They all would get smoked by Ohio State and Oklahoma. I hate saying that but believe it’s true.

    sheesh

Today showed us exactly what we need. A mobile qb and a top notch offensive coordinator

Looking at how we played today, I think we would have lost even without the turnovers. We got outplayed at the line of scrimmage, showed little pass rush, got picked apart in the first half by the SC QB, and could not figure out how to move the ball consistently much of the time against this 3-3 SC squad. We imploded and got a gift penalty at the end against SC that kept us in the game. The coaching was questionable at best. The only good thing we did today was punt!

The Dawgs are now 0-5 when Fromm is forced to throw more than 30 times in a game. The Gamecocks had the correct recipe to beat us.

We still mostly control our own destiny as long as we win the rest of our games. We have NO room for error now. If we make it to the SEC Championship and lose, there is no doubt in my mind that a 2-loss team will NOT make it into the playoffs - especially with this kind of loss. This was embarrassing and showed how much work we really need to do on both sides of the ball. We'd better be able to shake it off and come out firing against KY next week (who SC beat 24-7).

The Gamecocks deserve the win. GO DAWGS!

Hey Smart. your facts as you see them are also excuses to lose! Get better...that's it...get better.?? Where is the spirit? There is no spirit in this team....they coasted through with terrible mistakes and now it cost them against a mediocre team. This was supposed to be The year of the Dawgs...Fromm even bragged this. You could see at Vandy it would not be the case. Then Tenn...only bright spot Notre Dame...they were supposed to be our Achilles Heel...not South Carolina. Sorry fans, this is not the year again of the Dawgs. No chance now for more than a ho-hum bowl game they will likely lose as they did in TEXAS! Smart is not aggressive enough.....football is a punishing game.....FIGHT through to the end...but FIGHT! How on earth did Smart survive at Alabama??? Maybe he needs to go back with them. Coaching in leadership......this team has no consistent leadership spirit for some strange reason...hummmm? Third and short and we kick a field goal????

Kentucky will be a clone of this week unless something changes up front. After that Florida is going to be a blow out. Will be hard to watch. UGA will end up probably third in SEC East...East folks......not West. Days of yore.

Prove me wrong Dawgs....up to you!

That is 💯 assuming you’re better than the opponent. Georgia didn’t even try till the end of the 3rd.

Man, and to rub it in, Alabama has overcome a slow start to really pour it on A&M at Kyle Field.

The way they score can be demoralizing for opponents. At least this is Tua's last year.

When you have a top 4 roster in all of college football... everyone is healthy... playing at home... playing an unranked team... playing against the 2nd & 3rd string QBs... have overwhelming talent superiority... and you lose!!! Where do you need to take a hard look?

We've been exposed. We almost blew the game against Notre Dame, and we struggled in the first half against TN. Our true colors are showing.

There is still a path to the playoff, but the odds that Georgia will win its next seven games aren't much better than South Carolina's odds were to win this one.
