imageGeorgia football moves up in Coaches Polls, stays in top 10 of AP Poll even after **** win over Kentucky

The Georgia Bulldogs picked up an **** 21-0 win over the Kentucky Wildcats on Saturday. The game was played in a massive rainstorm, leading to tough conditions for both offenses. But voters did not punish the Bulldogs in the polls this week, as the Bulldogs actually moved up in the Coaches Poll to No. 9 and stayed at

Good, as a Dawg fan Florida deserves to be number 7. You know, they are actually capable of passing the ball in the rain. It’s amazing what kind of wide receivers and tight ends your program attracts when you actually make passing the ball a priority. Until this offense is in the 21st century, it’s going to be tough sledding to be a positive and supportive UGA fan. Really a shame.

JUst think Pickens was a last 2nd flip and Cager is a transfer, and then Wolf also. Arguably our best receivers weren't even promised to us this time last year. Scary stuff and shows the inabilty to get top receivers here because of the scheme, even with the highest rated or near highest rated QB commits in Eason, Fromm and Fields, UGA couldn't pull them in . Wake up KIrby. WHat a contrast watching BAMA's receivers and ours.

UGA must win SEC East to even be in any discussions. That means taking down Florida for starters. The polls mean little. Win SEC overall and you are within striking distance of the big dance. UGA better learn to boogie!

Notre Dame is ahead of us in the polls. Obviously, the AP wasn't any more impressed in our performance so far this season than I have been despite already beating ND. You can't blame the weather on the lack of production yesterday. No way.

None of ESPN's (3) Playoff analysts today had us in their Top 6 possible teams to make the playoff. Makes sense. LSU was in 2 out of 3 of the analyst's polls. Bama was in all 3 of course. We won't make it through the rest of the regular season undefeated if we continue to play like we have done so far this season (playing not to lose basically). We will lose at least one more game in the regular season, and even if we win the SEC Championship - by some miracle - a 2-loss team will NOT make the playoffs. I'm tired of the year-after-year season hype, Top 5 recruiting classes, and yet continuing to be disappointed in the end results. Our coaching and play calling this season has been questionable at best.

Something needs to change over the next 2 weeks for us to stay competitive and in the playoff conversation. I seriously hope I'm amazed at the results.

    GO DAWGS!!

UF and either the most inept officiating crew or the officiating crew that best followed the SEC mandate , the TN/Bama crew gets a close second, got the win over SC yesterday. I've no doubt that the Bama/LSU outcome has already been determined by Saban's home away from home in Birmingham at the SEC offices. The UF/UGA game outcome may have already been decided as well. The SEC needs Bama to be undefeated and also needs a plausible rival to UGA in the east in order to maximize profits at the end of the season. The multitude of calls that allowed the SC and TN games to be comfortable wins for UF and Bama could not have been happenstance. After SC upset UGA, no chance was being taken that there may be an upset of another viable candidate to get into the playoffs. Should a two loss east champion upset a one loss west champion in the SECCG regardless of the officiating, the mighty SEC could possibly be left on the outside of the playoffs. There is every appearance that the SEC is not going to allow that to happen.
