imageGeorgia football-Auburn game time, TV Network announced for Week 12 game

The Georgia Bulldogs' next road game might be its biggest game of the season, as the No. 6 Bulldogs (7-1, 4-1) travel to visit the No. 12 Auburn Tigers (7-2, 4-2) on Nov. 16. And that game now has a game time and television network. The game between Georgia and Auburn is set for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff. CBS will

Of course Auburn is coming in off a BYE, as is Mizzou this week and three previous SEC teams before then. If Kirby makes it through this SEC scheduling committee stacked against the Dawgs bye season with a 10- 2 record he should clearly win COACH of the year honors imho. That would be one more victory than his mentor the GOAT accomplished in 2010 with an even more skewed schedule. Go Dawgs and GREAT WIN this past weekend! Keep on chopping...

Very tough schedule in November with the bye week situation and all these teams are gunning for the Dawgs. Gus will be looking for a signature win this season, as his job depends on it. Texas A&M has been improving, and will put up a better battle than they were able to early in the season against Clemson. The Missouri game could be a challenge, especially if Bryant is 100% in that one. I think the Dawgs will be up for the game this week because it's prime time, and there is a bitter taste from the let down against USCjr. Anyway, from my comfy armchair Auburn on the road looks like the most difficult test remaining in the season. If the Dawgs can survive this November gauntlet, they should earn back a top 4 ranking in the CFP.

Very interesting how the Bye week schedules were set up by the SEC.

Georgia had their Bye weeks before Tennessee and Florida, which also had the week off. Simply put, Georgia doesn't get the benefit of having an extra week to prepare for any opponent, while SC, Mizzou and Auburn all get an extra week to get ready for Georgia.

Reminds me of when Georgia had to play two straight at Auburn. Would they make Auburn pay that game back? No....

At least Florida doesn't still get an extra week before the Georgia game, while Georgia had to play a game. It was that way for years...

Makes me wonder, how will the SEC screw Georgia next?

For those questioning how much difference there is facing a team off of a bye week when your team does not have one, look no further than pathetic Ole Miss against top 15 Auburn this past weekend. Fortunately for Auburn they survived their only disadvantaged week with a riveting 20-14 hold on at the end victory whereas Georgia couldn't quite pull it out against lowly USCjr. Fortunately for Auburn this is the only time they face an SEC opponent at that disadvantage of not having the extra bye week to prep and scheme this year. Unfortunately for Georgia we had/have three such instances, USCjr - Mizzou - Auburn.

Kudos to Kirby for the two times this year he has had to face teams coming off of bye weeks and he was also given the same two week prep advantage he outcoached both opponents and WON both games - UT and UF. I guess if you can't stop the Kirby Smart recruiting train and his SEC East domination on the field the past two years then alternate methods for establishing parity in the SEC East is deemed okay by the SEC Schedulers office and the SEC commish! After all, if they allow Georgia to run unchecked in the East and continue to stockpile all the elite talent, with Kirby's coaching prowess what's to prevent the SEC East from becoming his personal Clemson owned ALL CUPCAKE CONFERENCE Atlantic Division?

To me, having the AU game during the day is a whole lot better than it being a night game.  As much as I am not a fan of CBS announcers, this is a blessing.  It is a tough environment regardless, but...
