Georgia football top ranked one-loss team in College Football Playoff rankings for Week 11
The first set of College Football Playoff rankings have been released for the 2019 season. And the Georgia Bulldogs placed well in the committee's initial rankings, as the Bulldogs came in at No. 6 in the rankings. The top four teams are Ohio State at No. 1, LSU at No. 2, Alabama at No. 3 and Penn State at No. 4.

Just win baby.
The only real surprise was seeing Penn State over Clemson.....but not that much...It also begs that question......2 big ten teams? No matter.....the Dawgs have to win the SEC to get in.....
I'm probably stating the obvious, and it probably won't matter in the end but the there are 2 games involving the 4 teams before the end of the season (LSU vs. Bama this weekend, PSU vs. OSU). I guess the committee would be okay with them playing again, or maybe they didn't check the regular season schedule.
I'm being somewhat facetious as these are what they consider the 4 best teams right now.
I see 6-8 teams who can say Win abd we are IN.
Interesting that the CFP commissioner is an Oregon guy and the two Pac-12 teams are sitting ahead of Oklahoma. Does anyone actually believe they are a better team? Oklahoma is going to have to win out in impressive fashion in order to leapfrog those two teams.
Big Ten has been working its way up and now 2 teams are in top 4. Two SEC also in top 4. But as has been stated, somebody's got to lose a game as the top teams have yet to play each other in their conferences. Then things will get interesting. Going to be a couple more 1-loss teams at least. Can GA still maintain its 6th place ranking? UGA , yes, as has been stated...must win the remainder of its games and the overall SEC title. Must. Or another year of back to the "Belk" Bowl so to speak...another also ran.
But...I believe they will win out....GO DAWGS!
I don't know how the rest of the world feels but i believe JAKE needs to stay another year. He will only get better and the experience wil help him to improve his game. I think he will probably go in 2nd or 3rd round of the draft. If he stays he will be a 1st round pick. This is just my thoughts. Nothing but the best for this young man. Go Dawgs
