It's a good thing Georgia isn't scared of playing home and away OOC games. It's Paying off.

    Now, just go beat Auburn!

These rankings are good IF UGA wins out. Puts them in the CFP championship games. Like kirby and many commenters have declared...play every game as if it is a playoff game....visualize Florida or better yet LSU in front of you!!!!! GO DAWGS!

Auburn is the only game on the schedule that matters. Next week, TA&M is the only game on the schedule that matters. Etc. One game at a time, sounds trite but is unassailable.

I guarantee Gus will be hell-bent on putting up a rushing touchdown on UGA. I have no idea whether or not that helps our defense to better prepare for the run in the red zone.

After Florida, there is no other team that has a greater desire to be a spoiler of our season. I hope our team can continue to give their best and leave it all on the field. May the good Lord bless our players with supernatural health in these remaining games.

    Go Dawgs!

The problem with the “no Difference” is that we will run up the middle on our first offense play. I wish I were wrong but I’m not and it never works. Please do something different Kirby.

Yeah, I'm sick of hearing "overrated" while no one seems to mention Clemson's 1 point win over UNC and their pathetic schedule.

But, the rankings mean little for Georgia. If we win the next 3 games + SEC Championship game then there's no doubt we'll be in the Top 4... we might be the #1 Team in the Nation if we take down LSU. That'd give us wins equal to Bama (Texas A&M, Auburn) + win against LSU (bama loss) + wins against Notre Dame and Florida.

The problem with our loss is that it is pretty much the ONLY way we make it to Top 4 though. I doubt that even if we win the next 3 and get a close game but ultimately lose to LSU that we would still be placed in Top 4.

So, right now it doesn't matter what we are ranked. #1, #4, #5. While Clemson is taking it easy, we'll be going against 3 very tough teams (+ GA Tech LOL).

The committee has not ignored the soft OOC schedules of Alabama or Clemson, who I believe was originally in fifth behind Penn State before they lost. They are setting the bar for the Power 5 teams to toughen their schedules. Bama players need not worry, however. As long as they take care of the rest of their business, they are in prime position to make the playoff. UGA could easily lose again, and even if they don't, someone probably will. Clemson has already had their "moment," so they are probably in. However, Ohio State still has to play Penn State, Michigan and potentially a B1G conference championship which could be a replay with Wisconsin or more likely, a surprising Minnesota team. If PSU beats OSU, they'll win the division and OSU is out, and so is the B1G conference. OSU will not get the pass that Alabama will with one loss. If they get to the SECC game, UGA will face LSU. LSU could lose it and still get in, while UGA would not with two losses. Bama proved in 2017 you don't have to play/win your conference to get into the CFP. They are ranked ahead of Oregon, Utah and Oklahoma, so each would need to win out impressively, including a conference championship to leapfrog Bama. Bama's nightmare is for UGA to beat LSU, which likely gets both in with Clemson and OSU if they win out. If not, the fourth spot is between the best 1-loss teams--PSU, OSU, Oklahoma and Oregon or Utah. Bama would NOT be a third SEC team. I'd guess the committee would favor Oregon, since they lost a close opening game to Auburn, then likely Oklahoma. UGA has only one path to the CFP, and so does Bama. And right now, Auburn is in our way. Go Dawgs!
