Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:

- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)

- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans

- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum

- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Born and raised here. Don’t think I’ve ever had a bad experience. Nothing that couldn’t be handled anyway. Enjoy every day as if its your last. As for sports check them all out at least once. Men’s and women’s. I had no interest in hockey till UGA got a club team now I love it. So don’t limit yourself and remember when the games over the party begins.

Congrats! I have a daughter (senior) and son (sophomore) at UGA. They cannot imagine themselves anywhere else. They love UGA and Athens; both are in the Greek system and have made great lifelong friends in their houses. They have lots of fun, but also work hard. Key is to find that balance of work hard and play hard. And get involved and stay ahead of ur work as others have said. Enjoy!

Congrats! Welcome to the fam. I graduated in 2000. Best years of my life. Back then my favorite thing was downtown Athens. The food and the music scene.
