Posts with no comments?

I've been seeing a lot of posts with no comments lately. Is this another glitch in the system? I only have one guy on ignore, so I know it's not that.

They’re trying to do the same thing. Reset the thread. Like using a “.” Or doing the fireplug method

No. The no comments are folks clearing out the thread to get the "New" tag off it. In order to clear the thread, you have to post in it then re-read it. You don't have to make a comment many are just putting a "period" for content or nothing at all.
