  • I think coming in as the underdog will be good for the team mentality. Having no one believe in you does a lot for motivation. Last year we were favored over LSU by a similar margin that they are favored over us this year, and the team came out flat. This year they know it will be a battle. I don't know who will win, but I think this team will play some of its best football this Saturday. Go Dawgs!

We're going to have to come out fast, take chances, be aggressive, and keep Burrow and Edwards-Helaire off the field as long as possible. Auburn held these guys to 23 points and barely lost. We CAN beat LSU, but we'll need a few breaks and must play our best game of the year.

    GO DAWGS!!!

Not that it means anything, but it is interesting to me that both the LSU and SCAR losses were 1 year apart (10/13/18 was LSU, and 10/12/19 was SCAR).

Were we just too overconfident at that point in the season for both games?

I want us to be confident, and I don't think there's a chance that we're overconfident and under prepared for the SECCG.

LSU entered the game last year after having lost to FU at FU, and I think Ed had them especially motivated.

I'm not wild about being the underdog, but if it helps motivate our guys, I'm good with it.

    Go Dawgs!

A more neutral site gives Dawgs "leg up" (no pun to Ole Miss), in comparison to playing in Death Valley. Dawg offense will be able to move the ball on LSU. Having an outstanding kicker will be a big advantage. Can the D put pressure on Burrow, stop the run, like they have, all year, and avoid breakdowns in the secondary. Think Dawgs will play respectably, it fall in a close one. LSU 34-30.

Out of all the things that Georgia needs to do right in order to win the game... They need to physically bring Burrow down. I'm not talking about QB pressures or hurries. I'm talking about a "true" meaningful sack. I 100% believe if our bulldogs do that, they will win the game and the analyst will verify that getting meaningful sacks was the key to Georgia's victory. Because i think the offense will do enough to win the game, but there is nothing like making the other QB hesitant because he is getting roughed up every other play. (Hesitant = mistakes)

DL & LBs need to get after it this week. Maybe even some CBs as well for some blitz packages.

LSU...its burly coach Orgeron, and bright stars in Burrow and Clyd Edwards-Helaire, are the talk of the internet and media. They have built a stellar rep within college footballdom. However, they are playing in Georgia, neutral but home state and yes the stadium will be rife with UGA fanatical fans. This is a different team and look from 2018....with a whole different outlook on this game. You can feel its collective energy...palpable...and hear it through the confident voices of the UGA players. There is power in that energy and the talent to back it up. Attitude says a lot. UGA is confident but in a judicious way. The inner Dawg I call it. Well, I believe UGA will let the inner Dawg(s) OUT Saturday and shock LSU in 2019. GO DAWGS!!!
