Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

LMAO, I was exactly the same
I couldn't get past the intro. I believe they are fishing for views. I'm sad I fell for it.
Ummmmm. I would suggest watching it....you might see that we are actually trying to let the guy down easy.
He produced the video and sent it out to Dawgnation.......he's gonna get a response.
Yall aren't offending me no worries. I am young, but not a snowflake like the rest of my generation. If you like it, great! if not no worries
Just tone it down and spruce up the surroundings and you might be on to something.
Very insightful
Okay I take back what I said. That is 2 and a half minutes I'll never get back of my life. But he does laugh like Peter Griffin so that's kinda cool.
Go Dawgs
Best thing I've heard on this thread. all the criticism is okay with you telling me that
You have a great attitude. If this is something you are passionate about......keep working and learning.
Most, if not all, successful musicians, actors, entrepreneurs and even athletes had to overcome criticism and doubters.
Your attitude already has me wanting to see how you improve your craft and where you can take this.
I've gone from a critic to a cheerleader.
Wow man I really appreciate your words. Through this video, and many people, mostly Clemson people giving me really constructive criticism that I need to throw away acting all crazy, and just be me. Stop trying to be crazy and just present my ideas and see where it takes me. But again man I really do appreciate your post. Through all the hate, when you get a little love it means a lot.
If this is something you're passionate about...keep it up. Find some influences to craft your skills after. work on the delivery...the story telling.
As a musician i would put it in terms of dynamics... if you start at maximum volume then you have nowhere to go to add intensity/emotion/ or hammer your punchline. Save some for later in the vid.
Also in terms of dynamics...silence. or getting quieter can be as captivating if not more so than a guitar solo shredding in your face. (example those new beer commercials where its just complete silence and microphone real close to somones lips as they whisper some catch phrase and take a sip)
So work on the delivery so you slowly increase your audiences attention.
Also...clearly with everyone turning it off after a minute (which is surprising they gave you that much time considering the norm for attention spans) you have a very short intro window to captivate your viewers/listeners... that intro needs to be worked on so it doesn't scare folks away, and leaves room for curiosity to learn more, or right off the bat proves a big point and then you'll dive intot he supporting details later in the vid..something.
Anyways. best of luck.
side note...i havent even watched it.
You're 10000% correct and I really do appreciate the time you put in to try and help me become better. Anybody who takes time out of their day to try and help someone, really speaks volumes.
