Best thing I've heard on this thread. all the criticism is okay with you telling me that
You have a great attitude. If this is something you are passionate about......keep working and learning.
Most, if not all, successful musicians, actors, entrepreneurs and even athletes had to overcome criticism and doubters.
Your attitude already has me wanting to see how you improve your craft and where you can take this.
I've gone from a critic to a cheerleader.
Wow man I really appreciate your words. Through this video, and many people, mostly Clemson people giving me really constructive criticism that I need to throw away acting all crazy, and just be me. Stop trying to be crazy and just present my ideas and see where it takes me. But again man I really do appreciate your post. Through all the hate, when you get a little love it means a lot.
If this is something you're passionate about...keep it up. Find some influences to craft your skills after. work on the delivery...the story telling.
As a musician i would put it in terms of dynamics... if you start at maximum volume then you have nowhere to go to add intensity/emotion/ or hammer your punchline. Save some for later in the vid.
Also in terms of dynamics...silence. or getting quieter can be as captivating if not more so than a guitar solo shredding in your face. (example those new beer commercials where its just complete silence and microphone real close to somones lips as they whisper some catch phrase and take a sip)
So work on the delivery so you slowly increase your audiences attention.
Also...clearly with everyone turning it off after a minute (which is surprising they gave you that much time considering the norm for attention spans) you have a very short intro window to captivate your viewers/listeners... that intro needs to be worked on so it doesn't scare folks away, and leaves room for curiosity to learn more, or right off the bat proves a big point and then you'll dive intot he supporting details later in the vid..something.
Anyways. best of luck.
side note...i havent even watched it.
You're 10000% correct and I really do appreciate the time you put in to try and help me become better. Anybody who takes time out of their day to try and help someone, really speaks volumes.
I agree. His enthusiasm is great. It's just the delivery that needs work. I hope he keeps at it and refines his craft till he finds that sweet spot. Or his sweet spot might be the over-the-top character.
Check out Archie Luxury for an example of an over-the-top character who has become quite famous in the watch world for his craziness. If you are a watch collector, like me, you know exactly who this guy is...and you wither love him or hate him. I love him as a comedian..which is what he does. They guys who hate him take him seriously.
Thanks brother, again taking the time to give me this response means a lot. taking everything ive heard, Im going to find my sweet spot, and be better. For yall and for me. To see that everything that was said was really taken into action. Good luck tomorrow.
@clemsontigerfan2 i didn’t realize that was your video or I would have been more respectful. Sorry about the rudeness. I didn’t disagree with your facts, just your opinions.
Hey brother it is alllll good! I'd rather hear honest opinions versus getting smoke blown up my a$$. Appreciate you saying this but its all love. Cant get better if I don't hear my flaws
Makes me genuinely happy how this thread has turned out. Best of luck to OP. Best of luck to Clemson. Hope we see you guys in the semis or the finals.
Hey man I really appreciate it! Obviously didn't expect the thread to turn this way but am happy to be shocked. Good luck tomorrow. Would love an ole fashioned Clemson UGA matchup
There’s always going to be haters, keep doing your thing man. I’ll definitely keep an eye on your future videos. Hell, I may not agree with your video but I hope you’re right.
The score in the Vandy game is a little misleading because 21 of the 38pts they scored weren't really LSU Ds fault. There was a fumble on LSUs own 1 that Vandy recovered, an interception that was either a pick/6 or returned inside the 5, and a similar thing on a punt return. So as we saw tonight and the last couple of weeks, LSUs D isn't as bad as they looked against Ole Miss. They're probably the healthiest they've been since the start of the season and now that they've get even more time to rest and heal, LSU is going to be a tough out.
Tough out for sure, they just won't have the guns on Defense to hang with Clemson or OSU
After the @$$ whipping they just handed us, I can't help but think LSU goes all the way. Just seems like their year.
But all of us will be rooting for you guys vs. OSU. 100%. Good luck!
I Appreciate it brother but its hard to do anything with no receivers and a banged up RB1. After that game though from an outsiders perspective... Kirby has some problems that need to be fixed or he's gonna end up like Richt.
We're gonna be just fine. Good luck bro.
