Sahvir Wheeler lifts Georgia to 87-85 double-overtime win over SMU
ATHENS — The smallest man on the floor came up big for Georgia on Friday night. Freshman Sahvir Wheeler, a 5-foot-9 point guard, lifted the Bulldogs to an 87-85 double-overtime victory SMU at Stegeman Coliseum. Wheeler dribbled the clock down to six seconds before slicing to the basket and laying in the winning

Tuned in near the end of the game. SMU was 8-1 and every time UGA looked like it was going to put SMU away, SMU fought back. UGA looked good fighting back in the two OT's. Announcers gave UGA high marks and praised the crowd support. Four ranked opponents coming up soon. Exciting game - hope UGA can leverage for SEC success.
