So the wife and I got an air fryer for Christmas. Never had or used one. It's pretty basic, 3.2 quart, 390 degree/30 minute max.
Please share some recipes for a novice........Thanks!

No recipes but let me know how wings turn out. Are they actually good or are they "frozen yogurt is as good as ice cream" good?
You have a wife? The generosity of women is truly amazing.
Probably the first thing I'll try....will let you know...
Chicken paws are really good in that .
I was a rescue find. She opted for me instead of a three legged hairless possum....Go figure!
😎😂
Just got the wife a 7qt one and it’s been awesome so far I don’t know about recipes though we’ve just done basic stuff so far lol.
We bought a Ninja Foodi then bought a recipe book off Amazon for like 12.00.....
Air fryer = convection oven
Boneless wings = chicken nuggets
Unsweetened tea = tea
It is funny how changing the name of something also changes the interest.
So I take you don't have any of your own recipes?
Not a recipe, just a Pro tip: Buy publix hot and spicy wings (deli section.) Toss in Franks Buffalo Wing sauce. Heat/cook in air fryer 4-5 minutes until hot sauce baked on. Awesome wings without starting from scratch.
How is the cleaning?
Try some basic stuff first. Tator tots (come out excellent). Breaded, frozen fish.
One of my favorites is scallops. Defrost, drain, spray with a little oil. Don't overcook. Yummy.
My daughter is in a air fryer recipe group. She cooks hard boiled eggs in the air fryer.
Clean up is easy. Figuring out exactly how long to cook things takes a bit of doing and varies with the power of your model.
We've upgraded to a larger model with more power at a lower price as the prices have gone down. Paid about $50 for both (at Costco).
I find the air fryer very useful. The larger more powerful model is way better.
Go, Dawgs!
Thanks!
Used it twice so far. First time we did sweet potato fries as a test run. I wasn't too keen on them before, but the wife wanted to do some. They actually turned out really good. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and we dipped them in ranch dressing.
Last night I did marinated chicken thighs. Again, they turned out very nice. Took about 20 minutes.
Clean up is easy compared to Iron skillets which I usually cook with.
I also agree with bumping up the model once I master the beginner model I have now.
