Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Can you please direct the less-informed of us where "elsewhere" would be. I can't find anything except more blurbs stating he plans to delay his announcement -- but no reasons are being given. But in other (possible) recruiting news. 5-star Brock Vandagriff from Prince Avenue Academy in Athens has de-committed from Oklahoma. Kid is the #1 pro-style QB in class of 2021 and the #8 player overall. He said he de-committed because he now realizes how hard it would be to play so far away from home. Hmmm. Come home to mama, Brock! And Go Dawgs!
Or enter the transfer portal..
Academic issues are keeping him from being an early enrollee in January
however he has signed a LOI at what everyone assumes is UGA
I’m assuming he’s signed so he can’t change his mind unless UGA retracts that commitment?
Fingers crossed for Washington and Ringo but Brock Vandagriff (2021) decommit is the big news. Hmmm.
Maybe there's a Junior College in his future.
Zach appears to be a great talent but what is up with the recruiting drama? My gut tells me the school that lands him may need to buckle-up for the ride.
Well this interesting/concerning. In Jeff's interview of him the other day he said twice he's academically qualified. Has a good SAT score when Jeff pressed him. Maybe not. It seems like he may turn out to be Hazelnuts long lost cousin... Hope not.
If he did sign with us CKS may have burned the letter once he saw he was held from State. Probably talked to the coach as too why. Decided this wasn't a road to go down.
Hope it's not anything serious for the young man, no matter where his LOI is for
Something is awry or I believe he would have announced. Zach may be a handful wherever he lands....but he is a premier back. The kid has tremendous talent. Is that talent landing in UGA? We wait. Lindberg, signee, seems to peg him at the top of the RB heap...even Heisman quality.
Off topic.. It's official..Darnell Washington is a DAWG!
Evans is super talented young man but has real discipline issues. He needs a guy like Dell McGee and upper class leadership hold him accountable for his character and mentor him along to maturity.
He definitely raises red flags with high school discipline issues which makes him somewhat of a risk but Deon Sanders is trying to help the kid out and at least with Sanders at his side, he admits he made a **** mistake. So at least maybe Deon is making him own his mistakes and accept responsibility for them. I know words are manufactured and actions are truth but you have to admit you have a problem before you can fix it. I just think he may relate well with a guy like Dell McGee and Evans said himself that Coach McGee is like a father figure. I don't pretend to know the young mans circumstances but I coached for 32 years and I saw a lot of young men with some serious character flaws. Sometimes they are tough to reach and sometimes you never will but often times you really have to dig deep down to the root of their soul to find the switch that makes them see the light. You can't pamper kids like that but you do have to show them some tough love, and guidelines have to be firm. Then he will need some high character leaders to help to support and keep him in check.
IF he did sign LOI, then it has to be with Georgia. He said after the All American game that he spoke with Kirby within the last couple of days. Once a kid signs an LOI they are off limits to other coaches contacting them so him speaking with Smart means he had to have signed with UGA. The only caveat here is "IF" he signed his LOI. This kid is ALL OVER THE PLACE and I can see him saying he signed and that he's enrolling early, when he actually didn't sign and is in a tough, embarrassing spot.
