To DawgNation: thank you for the red banner at the top of the website announcing breaking news. Especially for commitments. While I'm all good with Jeff Sentell, the one thing he does (or is it the editor?) that is irritating is the click-bait "so-and-so has made their college decision" teaser on the DN home page.

Awesome news for the Dawgs and probably signals that Fromm is coming back as well. Remember that Fromm and LeCounte were the pied pipers for Kirby's first recruiting class appearing in several videos dressed as Santa. I think both Richard and Jake returning will give the team a chance to do something really special next year and they have a lot of unfinished business to attend to. First, beat Alabama in the SEC Championship game and then win the Natty. If they can lead the offense and the defense to the promised land, they will go down in Bulldog lore as the greatest recruiting combination in team history (which would be saying something). Go Dawgs!

Reading the tea leaves on this, I agree that it seems to hint at Fromm returning. My reasoning on that, though, has more to do with the way Smart tends to manage bad news. If he thought Fromm was likely to take his exit, I suspect Smart would have asked LeCounte to hold off on announcing his return.

    Pure speculation, of course.

His stock will go through the roof if he can show to scouts and all of the spectating public that he can tackle better. I hope he has an amazing season and gets drafted in the first round! Glad he is coming back.
