WATCH Anthony Edwards: Georgia 'didn't play with toughness' in loss to Kentucky
Georgia basketball proved it can compete against the best in the SEC, but the Bulldogs weren't able to sustain a winning effort against Kentucky

I watched the second half of that game......Georgia was playing tough until about 10 minutes to go when they had a 2 on 1...they threw the ball away....It was down hill after that.....I wanted a more physical game....I wanted to see Georgia crashing the board......not taking 40' jump shots
Poor shot selection, not following the shot, no one crashing the boards and very slow to get back on D late in the second half. These are symptoms of a young team and an out of shape team.
They will get better and I am excited about the program.
Go Dawgs!
I agree @BoulderDawg. That turnover right there was huge, and was basically an unforced error. This team is good -- vastly improved over last year -- but still needs to learn a few things about playing tough and winning in the SEC. I enjoyed watching them last night, though obviously disappointed in the outcome. The real disappointment, though, is that unlike in football, we'll only have Edwards for one year. Then we'll have to start all over again. I think if he had to stay in school just one more year, the Dawgs would be dynamite on the hardwood. But oh well, I'll enjoy him for now. Go Dawgs!
@DallasDawg - I agree that we will see Edwards only one year, but there are some very good players on the team who won't be one an done. Coach Crean has the foundation for a few good years in that team. If the team produces, recruiting for basketball will go to the next level.
Go DAWGS!
They will have to learn that there are 2 halves to a game. It doesn't matter what you've done in the first half. The game is won in the second half. Hopefully, they will learn from this and continue the growth process. I honestly wasn't expecting them to win this game. I have watched many Georgia basketball teams go up against Kentucky to fade in the second half after giving the Wildcats a game in the first. They settled for way too many jump shots and didn't go in the middle. They turned the ball over and lack the defensive hustle in the 2nd half.
