Ever since Jeremy Pruitt arrived at Tennessee, it seems like he's tried to incorporate some part of the Georgia football program into his own. Prior to the 2018 season, Pruitt hired Georgia outside linebackers coach Kevin Sherrer to be his defensive coordinator. He also hired former defensive line coach Tracy Rocker

I’ve never seen Cade Mays’s father, but if he is built like his son, chairs should be suing him!

This seems like an awfully nice spin on a stinky situation. This makes it seem like Jeremy Pruitt was "recruiting" Mays. He may want to be like Georgia, but the simple fact is UT is NOT Georgia, and cannot be. I honestly think this is a situation where the Mays family wanted their boys to play together. For a time, it seemed like UGA was going to be that place as they were after the younger Mays. But when things went south and he wound up at UT, they wanted Cade back there. With Pittman gone, it made that possibility MUCH more likely. Like others have said, I think the lawsuit is part of an overall scheme to get Cades immediate eligibility. We'll see if it works. Go Dawgs!

The waiver is just a formality in this case. May's lawyer works for the NCAA. In the stories announcing Tom Mars' hiring by the NCAA, I seem to remember he was no longer going to handle player transfers. Why isn't anyone writing about this obvious conflict of interest?

Just cause you try to use parts of the dawgs formula doesn’t mean you run and get similar results

I hope the Dawgs let this simmer and burn all through the offseason and come out against UTrashy hungry and pissed next season. To hell with Tennessee.

As a Dawg fan, but living15 mins from UT. Let me tell you, they already believe he will be granted immediate playing time. All they have talked about for the last 3 days is what their starting o-line is going to look like. If he wants to come back to Knoxville and play for fans that at one time posted on twitter, they hope he plays and blows out his ACL in front of 102,000 fans. So be it.

Here are the problems I have with this transfer garbage.

It took 2 years to decide to do this? To be close to his family because of the injury? If that is the case, wouldn't it be conceivable to NOT play. I mean, if he needs to be closer to his family because of the injury and pain and suffering, wouldn't having to pratice and play football take away the time to spend with his family? Don't see how you can use that excuse.

Is it just too far? I believe Knoxville is closer than Indiana. Not a good reason either.

I know none of that matters to the i.d.i.o.t NCAA. But just an opinion. He will get instant eligibility, but just shouldnt. My biggest question is: do you really want an education front UT, when it is obvious that even after 30 or so years, you still haven't learned HOW TO USE A CHAIR!!!!! LOL.

Some local sport announcers has even picked Ga to finish 3rd in the east. Behind, you guessed it. Fla and the new and improved UT o-line.

I agree with Lowcountry, I hope the Dawgs just let this drive them this off season and into the season and come out with a boulder on their shoulder. So many people have wrote them off.

ATD and punish the opposition. GO DAWGS.
