What do UGA football players do after they finish ball? They coach at South Carolina, it seems. Gamecocks coach Will Muschamp announced this week that a fifth former UGA player was joining this year’s coaching staff at the SEC school. Joe Cox, the former UGA quarterback, is the new tight ends coach at South Carolina.

Hey, good for Joe Cox and Mike Bobo to land on their feet with fellow Dawgs in Columbia. UGA and USC have one of the most intense interstate Big Brother - Little Brother rivalry’s in all of college football. They want to do everything we do. We are still the big brother. They might sneak up on us once in a while, but everyone knows who the alpha dog is in this relationship.

Until this year I always cheered for Will. After the **** performance seemingly encouraged by Muschamp in the 2019 team breaking up the hedges, no longer. Don't mind them rubbing our nose in the dirt but not wanton vandalism of a symbol. Perhaps this year, after our win we should fry Cocky for post game snack......of course not. Ignorant young players can be excused but a former Alum and Georgia Dawg? I keep a photo of the South Carolina coach holding bit of our hedge. Pretty sure Bobo would not do it and Kirby never did when coaching for Sabin. Old Dawgs have long memories.

I've always liked Muschamp but I hope that hand full of hedges in the above picture ends up costing him his job. Hopefully Kirby will plaster this picture all over the locker room wall and when the Dawgs invade William Brice stadium in 2020, they will destroy the Gamecocks unmercifully and pile some hedge clippings all over the midfield gamecock logo. My dream scenario is for Georgia be up 55-0 with under 2 minutes to go and SC have the ball, UGA use all 3 timeouts to try and get the ball back. Then go in to our 2 minute offense and throw for a final second touchdown but leave 1 second on the clock so we are allowed to go for 2.

SC is only relevant when they beat UGA. I hope Muschamp and all the other Dawgs have great success except when they play UGA or stand in the way of us winning the East
