Pickens is already a beast. I hope they're right about Newman.

I hope all the pundits are correct about Newman. Coming from the ACC where defensive backs are a step slower and defensive lineman aren’t as quick as SEC players, he may have a lot of adjustments to make. We’ll know come spring game. Not saying ACC doesn’t have It’s share of good athletes but he’ll be facing this type player every weekend in the SEC. But, you can’t teach elusiveness and throwing into tight windows. I hope he is as good as advertised. Go Dawgs!

The Spring Game will be quite interesting considering the fact that our #1 defense is... well, #1 in the Nation according to numerous stats. If whoever plays on the #1 Offense Squad can get some quality passes on our top defense, it should be an exciting year. If the #2 Offense outperforms the #1 Offense, then that won't necessarily mean disaster but won't be quite as clear of an indicator.

I still wish they rotated QBs on both teams so each QB faced both #1 and #2 defenses and made Apples-to-Apples comparisons.

Hope they are in the back yard somewhere playing catch every day.
