And just imagine if we still had the same, archaic (and made known to the public) drug policies in place as we did several years ago??

This is what Mike does. Vague innuendo and provides no support, just like saying all the guys who didn't play in the Sugar Bowl failed drug tests but providing no support for it.

This case sounds like something other than possession, underage drinking, dui and the other issues that locker room leadership would counteract. Family violence and criminal trespass sound like offenses for which some serious counseling are needed. If Wyatt wasn’t openly talking about the situation, then the team could have had no way to know. But now that it’s out there, the team needs to help this young man, both for his sake and for the sake of the person or people on the receiving end of his actions. The team culture encourages a certain type of aggressiveness, and we love to see it on the field. The coaches need to help Wyatt learn how to focus that aggression in appropriate ways and keep it in check the rest of the time.

Except for the Military Schools, all college football teams have these types of incidents. I don't see a leadership problem at Georgia right now. But Wyatt does need to focus. He's a senior for gosh sakes!

I really hope he isn't removed from the team. He's one of those feel good stories, until this. But they shouldn't for this, if it is a misdemeanor. I mean look at how many chances they gave Jonathan Ledbetter. If it's just hollering and screaming at family, then he really needs the help. But if he's actually being physical, then kirby will have no choice.
