Quarantine Watch List
If you're like me, you're going a little batty without sports. Although I don't love the NBA and the NHL regular season a lot, they playoffs are great. I also enjoy baseball and being from Augusta I get excited for Masters Week. Here's a place to list your favorite sporting events to rewatch.
Also, drop your recommended shows/movies and the platform to watch them. I'm trying to read books and be creative but am totally failing so far. Anyway, here's some stuff i've been watching...
2007 Georgia vs. Florida game. Heard it was a good one
2012 Georgia vs. Florida game
Trying to find the 2017 game, but not having any luck. Feel free to post it if you find it
Amazon Prime: Parks and Recreation. funny show, plenty of future stars and good for taking your mind off of what's happening. I like it better as a whole than The Office
HBO: Curb Your Enthusiasm. If you like Seinfeld, you'll love this. They also have all the Sigourney Weaver Alien movies and Robocop movies on there now.
If you really wanna have a mindF...watch Midsommar on Amazon...that one messed me up.
Comments
Last night I started watching "The Boys" on Netflix. I'm not big on the Super Hero genre, but this is kind of gritty and good.
Good thread idea @Kasey
Georgia-LSU 2013 is the best football game I have ever seen in person, and likely will be for a long while.
The Boys was a strong watch and I am not a big Super hero genre watcher.
Great game and we did it without Gurley for most of the game. Murray played one heck of game.
If you have Showtime i just watched a docuseries called Murder in the Bayou that was pretty good. About 8 women who are murdered in a small Louisiana town over a period of years. I think it’s been out for a bit but I found it during a free trial.
Couldn’t help myself. Dan Mullen was quarantined as well
If you want an action packed series that will take quite a bit of time, watch "24" with Keifer Southerland.
Start with season 1 and go through all the seasons. As the seasons go on, you won't be able to stop watching. Each season gets more and more intense.
24 is so so so good
Really liked that show...dark humor for sure, but a great watch.
I've been re-watching a lot of 30 for 30's this past week. The Valvano/NC St. one never gets old, and I just watched the one about the Celtics-Lakers rivalry which was really good.
Also, if you get HBO, the long awaited s3 of Westworld kicked off this past Sunday. It's been a couple of years and I had kinda lost interest, but I thought this new episode was awesome.
Purchase Civilization VI and you will easily pass the time. That game is ridiculously addicting. I have lost countless hours on it.
I just heard that there will be an 11 hour marathon of UFC fights on ESPN this Saturday. Can’t wait to record that bad boy and watch at my own leisure!!
If you like that, you should seriously check out Europa Universalis IV. It's another grand strategy game but kind of on steroids. PM me about it if you want because I'm going to annoy everybody else here if given the chance lol
I've been playing civ since I was like 8 years old. I don't think I could play another grand strategy game without feeling guilty. It'd be like cheating on my wife after all the time i've played that game.
I second playing EU4. Best strategy game I've played
