Georgia has few commits because they are competing for recruits with Bama, Clemson, Ohio State. Takes a little longer for a recruit to make that decision. Florida is recruiting against Miami? FSU? Maybe Auburn? who? Recruits are probably committing fast before the gators change their minds, about them.

UGA will put on an aerial show that will dazzle Mullen this season. Todd Monken is not on staff for display only. He produces! The Dawgs are far superior to the Gators. The added dimension of a more versatile QB and passing game is just what UGA needs to complete its near perfect ensemble. You want fireworks? UGA will put on a show you'll not soon forget!!! GO DAWGS!!!

#5 is the key! Mullen's offense is no match against a Smart defense. Dawg Nation has got to love that Gator Nation is so enamored with Mullen! If Kirby was the HC at the capstone university in the #1 blue chip recruiting state in the nation, he would be setting recruiting records annually rather than wallowing in the back of the top 10 like Mullen.

That being said, with the virus wiping out the spring and campuses closed, UF has a one year window with a returning QB which is huge, to beat the Dawgs. If not this year, it may be a decade before the window opens again as the talent gap widens for the Dawgs. We learned with Richt the difference between barely top 10 recruiting classes and elite top three classes.

I think the advantage of florida having a returning qb as opposed to our new one, that would make a lot more difference if we played them early in the season. The more experience Newman gets in UGA system, the better he's going to be. Just my opinion.

Respectfully, UF has no window of opportunity, ShoottheHooch. Trask is good but not that good. Newman will step into the role at QB like the talent he has been portrayed and proven to be. Pickens hands will be waiting and Blaylocks..hopefully...plus all those phenomenal signees!!!!! The RBs can easily penetrate Mullen's mullets on the defense. I am really jazzed about this Georgia team....virus or no virus. Georgia will win and win big. They should run all over the Gators. IMO. PS..UGA also again signed one of the best kickers in the nation!!! Always a plus, huh? Gotta love these DAWGS!!!

The window may be small, but I believe there is still a window for UF with a returning QB, even if it is Trask. With no spring and no individual workouts with QB's and receivers during the summer, Newman is going to be running plays to the extent he knows the playbook for the first time in the fall practices. He will also be trying to get his timing down and trying to develop chemistry with new receivers. Offensively at the very least, UF has an advantage that I believe opens the window. The problem for UF will be the Dawgs defense slamming the window shut.

My biggest concern right now isn't beating UF, it's having a 2020 season! With golf course closures and no college football...well, there's only so much to live for!
